Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me”
Matthew 19:14 ESV

Our Statement of Faith

The Bible is the written Word of God and is infallible, or without errors. When we read it, we the interpreters do not control the meaning of the text but rather the original authors of it. The truths of the Bible trump today's social trends whenever issues from the two cultures overlap. We believe the following are key truths of the Bible:

1. Everlasting life is a free gift given to all who believe in Jesus Christ. To believe means to accept something as true. When someone believes in Jesus, he accepts as true who Jesus said He is (the perfect Son of God) and what He said He did (died for our sins and rose from the dead).

2. From the moment a person believes in Jesus, the Holy Spirit empowers him to live a life pleasing to God. (Living in this grace-based relationship is a lot of fun!)

3. At any moment, Jesus could return from heaven to get those who have believed in Him. God's promises to this world-wide group of believers, called the Church, do not negate or fulfill His promises to the nation of Israel. God will someday fulfill these promises, too.

  • Philosophy of Education

At Celina Christian School, we believe that people are precious because they are made in the image of God. As such, we are made to experience life spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially. A good education, therefore, uses a whole-person approach to teach right relationships between God and self, self and others, and self and creation. Teachers should be godly role models who help parents involved in a local church guide their students to acquire the values, academic knowledge, and skills for living life well for the glory of God.

  • Mission

CCS assists parents in their role of discipleship by providing an environment where biblical values foster academic excellence under Christian faculty and staff.

Please pray through our mission statement for us!

Caregivers: Pray for the families of CCS and their local churches. Biblical values: Ask God to use CCS to grow students who actively serve Him, their families, and their communities. Academic excellence: Thank God for the educational opportunities designed to help the CCS students embrace the love of learning. Faculty and staff: Pray for our role models as they develop relationships with the students and challenge them to become critical thinkers with biblical worldviews. Bless those who have opened their doors and hearts to support CCS.
